ITALY

In April 2007, we spent 3 weeks in Italy on a Road Scholar (then Elderhostel ) walking tour of Tuscany and Umbria. We walked for about 5 hours each day with local guides.

We later visited Rome. Very expensive and full of tourists.

SWEDEN

After visiting Italy, we spent about a week in Sweden with relatives who live in the mid-sized town of Gavle.

We spent three days in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.

Famous children's author Astrid Lingren lived in Stockhom.

We saw many Albins in Lake Mallarin - Albins (including Skol) were built in Sweden. Exciting.
