In May, we cruised to Otter Bay on North Pender Island for a rendezvous with the Albineers. It was quite a cold, windy, weekend and there was some rain. One of the Albineers experienced a problem with his exhaust pipe leaking in 4 foot seas and was rescued by fellow albineers and the Coast Guard on his way home to Sidney.

Mike in his toque. It was cold!

In June, we cruised to Telegraph Harbour on Thetis Island for another Albineer rendezvous. The weather was much warmer but again it was a little windy.

Telegraph Marina - agreat place to stay especially now that they have pizza and ice cream.

Clematis and poppies.

We stayed an extra day and hiked across the island to North Cove.

We crossed the Straight of Georgia in July and spent time in Secret Cove visiting family.

Then we cruised to Desolation Sound with Brendan. Most of our Desolation pictures are videos. Here are some stills from Powell River.

Brendan was a great sailer. He was sensible enough to take a nap during really rough weather.

On the way back home from Secret Cove, we visited beautiful Jededaih Island Marine Park. July, 2010 was very windy and we experienced 30 knot (60 km) winds in Codfish Bay and dragged our anchor.

In August, we took a leisurely cruise around the northern Gulf Islands.

We met up with old friends on Merriweather and had a great visit.

The weather was perfect.

Here we are coming back home to Nanaimo.
